Al's Diner

Category: American Style Food

Al's Diner is a recreation of a 1950's American Diner.

50% of the profits provides Computers for Public Elementary Schools, A Bit for a Byte. Al's Diner is "The Little Restaurant that Cares".

Four of us went there on a Saturday morning at 11am. (May 3, 2008) and were the first ones there. Two of us had Al's Quarter Pound Cheese Burger and the other two had Al's Chicken Sandwich. All came on a sugar free burger bun (made special for Al's), with lettuce, tomato, cheese and with an order of medium French fries for P85 each. Three had bottomless ice tea and I had a mango shake which was the best I have had.

All Burgers are 100% lean Australian beef and does not contain MSG, Salt, Soy or extenders.

Fruit Shakes are made with real fruit and fresh cream milk with no syrup or artificial flavorings.

Rating: (Scale 1-10 with 10 being the highest):

Food: 8

Service: 8

Ambiance: 8

Recommendation: Very Good. Actually I wish Al's Diner was closer to the house. The Quarter Pound Burger was a little small for me. The next time I will try Al's Half-Pound Burger and work my way up to Al's Giant Burger, a full pound of beef. The service was very good. The staff is very friendly and very helpful with the ordering off the menu. Al's Diner is very affordable and was a delightful experience.
